Halyard Mission Foundation event in Special Operations Museum

The U.S. Army Airborne and Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville NC hosted the Halyard Mission Foundation for a special event.

Serbian Ambassador to the United States, Marko Djuric, attended to view the exhibit commemorating the Halyard Mission that has been on display since July and to hear a very special announcement.

The organizers announced that a permanent exhibit dedicated to telling the Halyard Mission story will be included in the museum's new renovation. Working with the Halyard Mission Foundation the museum will develop this permanent exhibit featuring the true story of the role Draza Mihailovic played in supporting the rescue of 500 American airmen.

This is an important step in celebrating and remembering the Heroes of the Halyard Mission. The HMF continues to work with museums around the US to tell this important story.
