Halyard Mission Day at the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum in Mesa

Saturday, 30 April, Halyard Mission Day at the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum in Mesa, Arizona. Excellent participation from family members of rescued airmen, the Serbian-American community, and the general public. Thirty-six friends and family flew on the C-47 aircraft. This specific aircraft flew missions during the Halyard Mission, which made the flights even more special for family members who were able to fly on the aircraft that actually helped rescue their fathers. The museum has established a permanent exhibit of the Halyard Mission and has committed to holding two events per year with the Halyard Mission Foundation.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich attended the event and the local Phoenix news station provided excellent coverage of the event.
